For Sears Credit Card holders, there are several ways to make a payment. The simplest way is online. This requires enrolling in Online Bill Pay, which authorizes your bank to transfer funds from your account only when you complete a payment request each month. Please note that no funds will be transferred at the time of setting up Online Bill Payment.

Once enrolled, you can make an online payment. If you use a bank account for the first time, the available line of credit equal to the payment may be held for up to 3 business days. You can only make one online payment per day, but you may schedule future payments as far as 45 days in the future.

The payment cutoff time for Online Bill and Phone Payments is midnight ET. This means the payment will be credited to your account as of the calendar day, based on Eastern Time, that the payment request was received. If the request to make an online payment is received after that time, the payment will be credited as of the next day. Any payment made on a weekend or holiday will be applied as of the day it is made, but it will not be posted until the next business day.

In addition to online payments, payments can also be made over the phone by calling a specific number, in person at a nearby Sears store, or through traditional mail. Sears Credit Card also offers the option for cardholders to establish automatic payments for added convenience.

Sears.com has a Standard Return Policy effective with sales starting February 7, 2018. Most products can be returned in new condition, with the original packaging (including accessories, manuals, and parts) along with the receipt. After the return period, or if the item has been used, the manufacturer’s warranty may apply. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original method of payment. With a gift receipt, items will either be exchanged or refunded in the form of a gift card. Identification may be required for returns.

For Shop Your Way Members, the return period for purchases without delivery or installation is 45 days. For non-members, it's 30 days. Shipped returns will deduct applicable shipping charges from the refund, unless the return is a result of an error from Sears. For purchases with delivery or installation, the return time period begins from the date of delivery or installation. Customers have 3 days to notify Sears of any damages. Cancellation, restocking, and delivery pick up fees may apply.

For purchases in Mattresses, returns must be undamaged, unsoiled, and free of stains or infestations. All law tags must be attached. If customers choose an upgraded model for replacement, any increase in price will be their responsibility. The return time period begins from the date of delivery. Mattresses must be in use for 30 nights before being eligible for a comfort return. After the 30 nights, customers can request a one-time comfort return. Where permitted by law, a pick up fee will be charged for the delivery team to pick up the mattress or foundation from its location and a 15% cancellation or 15% return fee will apply. Customers have 3 days to notify Sears of any damages.

There are also exceptions to the return policy. Delivered wood furniture and indoor upholstered furniture, including recliners and sofas must be returned within 7 days of purchase. Certified Cell Phones are not included in the standard Sears return policy. Certified cell phones are pre-owned items sold with a 30-Day Limited Warranty provided by Certified Cell that covers manufacturer defects. The Certified Cell Limited Warranty does not cover visible physical damage, defects caused by physical or water damage, or damage due to consumer misuse.
